A Milwaukee Brewers left fielder tied a 98-year-old record during Game 4 of the World Series against the Tampa Bay Rays.

During Game 4, MLB said Jackson Chourio’s tenth hit tied a record set by Babe Ruth in 1928.

“Chourio’s 10th hit this #WorldSeries ties Babe Ruth (1928) for most through the first four games of a Fall Classic,” MLB said in a post on X.

On Tuesday, the Rays avoided elimination from the World Series, coming out on top of a back-and-forth battle that went 12 innings.

The Fall Classic will return to Milwaukee Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2026. The game begins at 8 p.m. ET.
